Big News Coming

Summer is saying it’s goodbye and many of us are not quite ready. I am not ready for pumpkin anything(well except Mikey’s pumpkin donuts), and certainly not ready for the season change. Years ago I was an autumn girl, then when my forties hit, I immediately became a summer girl, finally understanding after all of these years, just how short the summer season is. Winter in NH feels like forever. I love our garden and harvesting all of the yummy veggies! We got BEE’S this spring and finally harvested our first batch of honey which will be unavailable in the winter. The spring/summer is also great for our hens who give us so many delish eggs! In the winter, we get zero eggs. Spring & summer feel like a rebirth and I believe Mikey and I thrive more during these months.

We have been discussing some new moves for us within our homestead. They are exciting and will be incorporated with Wellbeing Soul-u-tions. So many growing opportunities have arisen with Mikey’s homesteading mentality. He has been working nonstop creating all natural home products which we will be sharing DIY tips as well as selling these products. Please be patient! January 2024 our new site will be up and running! I am so grateful for such an amazing grounding husband. I am beyond thrilled to actually be working together on this project. For years I think it is fair to say, like most marriages, he did his thing and I did my thing. Luckily, he received the gift of his Fidelity job being dissolved in 2017. I did not think some days we would have made it through. Thank God, I WAS WRONG! God throws us crazy curve balls and it may take years to sort it all out and finally understand the WHY.

Well after years of him not giving up on me(thanks Mikey), I am finally seeing the light! Why do we keep purchasing products from box stores/big companies when we could be making pretty much everything on our own? The answer? Drum roll…………………………………………

CONVENIENCE. We are incredibly lazy humans unlike a hundred years ago. It’s not our fault. It IS however our choice on how we want to treat our bodies & health. Now I am on board with creating our own products, food & whatever else I do not have to purchase. I am nervous as well as excited!
