February is approaching and we are getting closer to our May Retreat! I have heard from many women and have some confirmations! This retreat will be much different than my others. The main focus is for women who are experiencing the "storm" in our fifties or forties.
You know which storm I am talking about. We are feeling discouraged, tired, having joint pain, gaining weight along with many other symptoms. In May we will be learning how to be kinder to ourselves, keep our bodies strong and get a solid routine down for health and movement.
What is happening right now within is normal girls, BUT we do not have to suffer in silence or FEAR. There are tools and techniques which will help all of us power through this time. Recently, I was complaining to someone about my fifties and how it seems everything is breaking down. They looked at me and said how about we change the verbiage from breaking down, to ADAPTING? In the moment, I was like "whatever", but honestly think about when we turned twelve or thirteen and how our bodies changed and we hated it. Think about our early twenties when we started getting some curves and our jeans did not fit the same. Once again, if you had little's and how crazy that change was with not only our bodies but our hormones as well.
WE ARE ALWAYS ADAPTING, and will continue until our time is up on this earth. Change is extremely hard to accept. Let's start accepting the adaptation and feel incredibly blessed about waking up and BEING.
